Site specific sound installation / instrument develop as part of the public performance: Sound Kites Ensemble between Puerto Rico and Switzerland. The live performance took place at the Lighthouse of the Cabezas de San Juan Nature Reserve in Fajardo, Puerto Rico and Sils Maria, Switzerland. The installation was part of a collective of artists giving voice to the wind with their instruments and exchanging in real time the sounds created in a game with nature between the two countries. The work is part of a series of instruments / installations exploring sound in relation to landscape, architectural space and the body, expanding beyond the form and rhythmic intention of the traditional musical instrument.
