Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Carola Cintrón Moscoso is an interdisciplinary artist with an emphasis on sound, sculpture, and technology. Her works explore the perception and the experience of sound as a physical material, reflecting on her sociopolitical/cultural context as a Caribbean artist and the influence that this specific landscape has on the relationship with sound and the body. She has participated in multiple artistic residencies: PRAI Micro-residence Program, SJ, PR (2022), UAGM Museum, Gurabo, PR (2021), MASSMoca, MA, USA (2019), AS220 RI, PR (2018) and received the production grant from Beta Local (el Serrucho, 2020).

Her work has been exhibited internationally in New York City, the Dominican Republic, Río de Janeiro, Brazil, Madrid, Spain and is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Contemporary Art, the MUAGM and the Ponce Museum of Art, in Puerto Rico. As an artist and educator, has offered multiple art workshops, organized numerous individual and group exhibitions; and has participated in talks and discussion panels on sound art and contemporary art in Barcelona, ​​New York and Puerto Rico. From 2016-2021 she was co-founder/director of Diagonal, a space dedicated to the exploration and exhibition of contemporary practices related to art and technology. She currently lives and works from Santurce, Puerto Rico exploring the intersection between art, design and technology.
