presente derrumbe particulado (06:37 mins., stereo sound, 2022) addresses the current transformation of the coasts of Puerto Rico. The sounds recorded for the composition are from three ecosystems (Bajamar, El Escambrón and Ocean Park), which are currently undergoing an accelerated transformation not only due to climate change but mainly due to the mismanagement of the coasts and the indiscriminate granting of construction permits; undermining the terrain and the natural structures of the ecosystems. The piece was developed and presented as part of the PRAI micro-residence program, together with Teresa Hernández.
