water to water (10:00 min. stereo sound, 2021) explores the relationship and access to the landscape within the colonial context, and the regulations established between the federal and the state agencies for the management of natural resources. The sounds were recorded at El Yunque National Forest, administered by the USFS, and at multiples balnearios managed by the Compañía de Parques Nacionales de Puerto Rico local agency. The work was created and presented as part of Embajada's exhibition Isla a Isla at Governor's Island, NY at NADA NY 2021.
